We are feeling so delighted to share our experience about our very FIRST trip to the beautiful Kashmir. Words are less to express the beauty of Kashmir and the generous people of Kashmir. Overall...
it was an awesome trip and gave us memories for whole life.
My big Thanks to Fly Paradise travels for organizing such a great trip. Everything they promised was provided on trip. No deviations from our planned trip. Thanks to ‘Mohsina’ from Fly paradise who gave us assurance and took complete responsibility on her shoulders when we were scared to visit Kashmir because of news spread by so called news channels.
Our Cab driver ‘Fayaj’, Person with Golden heart really made our trip so enjoyable and memorable. Fayaj was more concerned about our safety and enjoyment in Kashmir. He did not want us to miss even a single place promised in our package. The moments we lived in Kashmir will cherished us whole life and will force us to go there again and again.
We took 4 nights and 5 days package in Kashmir. Starting from our Airport Pickup from Srinagar to drop at Srinagar on 5th day. All the time we spent there is memorable.
First night we have stayed in House boat in Dal Lake. The house boat was very luxurious with all the facilities and food served by them was just awesome.
Second day we left for Pahalgam, on arriving there we enjoyed horse ride with beautiful sight seeing of various valleys there. Betaab Valley and Chandanwari are the unforgettable places of Pahalgam. We had very pleasant night stay at River view resort at Pahalgam.
Third day we left for Gulmarg from Pahalgam. The beauty of Gulmarg cannot be expressed in words. Our driver guided us very properly before reaching there and we strictly followed his instructions which were so useful. The Gondola ride in Gulmarg is the main attraction without this the trip of Gulmarg is incomplete.
We move back to Srinagar after spending whole day there. There was some news of violence in Srinagar on that day but our driver called his contacts before taking any route. He was more concerned about our safety than us. But literally speaking Kashmiri people are so nice and they do not want to harm any of the tourist there. Even though they are protesting they do not harm tourists. Kashmiris wait for tourist because they are dependent on us for their food and family. They feel so disappointed when any tourist cancels his trip because of the news spread by various media channels.
We reached Hotel Shefaf after spending whole day in Gulmarg and stayed there for 2 nights. The experience of Hotel Shefaf is just awesome. The staff is so courteous, Hotel service is so good, The taste of food you can never forget on your taste buds.
Next day we went to exlplore the Sonamarg. Oh My GOD, This place is so beautiful it was really hard for us to leave that place. As expected our driver guided us so well that after reaching Sonamarag we proceeded for Thajiwas Glacier and other places there. After spending almost whole day there we proceeded towards Srinagar and on the way back we enjoyed Mughal Garden, Nishat Bagh, Tulip garden and Chashme shahi.
So this is our Last day in Srinagar, were felling so bad to leave this heaven but have to come back to our normal life. So we left for airport with beautiful memories and unforgettable experience with Kashmiri people.
I would like to advice everyone please do not trust the news about violence and other negative things spread in media about Kashmir, Just go and explore this beautiful place once. You will like to go back to Kashmir again and again. Most of the Kashmiris are dependent on tourism for their bread and butter. Whenever even a single guest cancels his trip they feel so dishearten.
Just go once without any fear and enjoy the beauty of Kashmir.
Please go to Kashmir and explore the beauty of this valley. People are so nice they treat you like their personal guest. Do not get scared by the news and other rumors flashed by media. This place is so safe for tourists. The Kashmiris are more concerned about your safety and they do not harm to any of the tourist. Kashmiris wait for tourist. They are dependent on tourism for their bread and butter.
